11/4/2005: Congratulations Matt Gursky and Brian Harper!

Our two newest brothers, Matt Gursky ΘT 1133 and Brian Harper ΘT 1034, were initiated on Friday November 4th.

9/27/2005: Homecoming 2005

Theta-Tau welcomed its alumni back this past weekend for Homecoming. Brothers Will Healy ΘT 1013, Dave Bright ΘT 351, and Fritts Biesecker ΘT 350 did an excellent job in organizing the event. Nearly 120 brothers from Theta-Tau and Pi-Iota participated. Friday featured the annual golf outing and an evening reception. On Saturday, Craig Taylor ΘT 923 was elected TTAA President (click here for full officer list). 9/23/2005: Hit the Bricks for Brian

On Thursday Sept. 22, the Chapter competed in the IFC Fundraiser "Hit the Bricks for Brian." Our team of brothers and AMs completed 234 laps (that's about 62 miles) around the Quad carrying a backpack full of bricks! For the third straight year, our Chapter raised more money than any other fraternity. Brother Mark Metcalf ΘT 1025 negotiated sponsorships with several local businesses. We also finished 2nd in total laps, beating out 31 campus organizations. Thanks to all the brothers and AMs who helped make this event a success! Click here for more photos.

8/29/2005: Foosball Table Undergoing Renovations

Our foosball table, an integral part of the lounge area for the last five years, is getting some much-needed repair work this week. A new set of 22 players will be labeled with the names and Zeta numbers of the current Chapter brothers. The old players (ΘT 968 through ΘT 991) will be framed and displayed in the lounge.

8/26/2005: Theta-Tau Welcomes Matt Gursky

The Associate Member ceremony was held on August 26th for our newest AM, Matt Gursky. His big brother will be Alex Olsen ΘT 1014. We hope to initiate a total of three AMs during the fall semester.

8/23/2005: New Additions to Chapter Lounge

A plaque honoring Brother James Steadman ΘT 385 was placed in the foyer area, and the original drawing of the Demon Deacon, designed by Brother Chic Forbes ΘT 374, is now in the formal Chapter room. Click here for more photos.

8/1/2005: Brothers Burch and D'Epagnier Attend Leadership Conference

The 2005 Lambda Chi Alpha Summer Leadership Conference was held at the University of Maryland July 28th through 31st. Over 500 brothers from the U.S. and Canada were in attendance. Brothers Burch ΘT 1010 and D'Epagnier ΘT 1020 completed a 3-day seminar on recruitment, and they also accepted on behalf of our Chapter the "2005 Campus Involvement Award."

4/10/2005: Theta-Tau Initiates Twenty-Three New Brothers!

On Friday April 8th, the brothers of Theta-Tau initiated twenty-three new brothers in one night! Six were our own AMs, and seventeen were from Pi-Iota Zeta at North Carolina A&T. Congratulations to all the new brothers!
