8/20/2006: Game Room Project Complete

The Chapter's informal game room received some much-needed renovations this summer, thanks to the TTAA and Dr. George Aldhizer AX 834. In addition to new floors and paint, the storage benches and cabinets along the wall have been removed, adding significant floor space. Check the Summer 2006 Theta Tauker for more pictures.

7/16/2006: Theta Tauker Newsletter on the Way

Thirteen undergraduate brothers and alumni gathered at the home of Brother Frank McNally ΘT 658 for a "Tauker Stuffing Party." Over 750 copies of the newsletter were stamped and sent today, and they will be arriving in the mail soon.

3/26/2006: Founders' Day

Our spring alumni event went extremely well. Thanks to Brothers Banks Currin ΘT 333 and Robert Black ΘT 1008 for organizing this event. Many alumni attended the initiation of our eight new brothers on Friday. Saturday featured a golf outing in the morning at Tanglewood and a chicken dinner in the Chapter lounge. 2/6/2006: Dr. George Aldhizer Receives Tenure!

Congratulations to our faculty advisor Dr. Aldhizer AX 834! A dinner celebrating his achievement was held on Monday. University Chaplain Tim Auman was present in addition to TTAA members Dave Bright ΘT 350, Fritts Biesecker ΘT 351, Walt Murray ΘT 412, and Dan Anthony ZU 726, along with Chapter brothers Robert Black ΘT 1008, Blake Brandes ΘT 1009, Michael Burch ΘT 1010, and Scott Foster ΘT 1021.

1/23/2006: Council of Presidents

Brothers Michael Burch ΘT 1010 and Andrew D'Epagnier ΘT 1020 attended the 2006 Council of Presidents at the T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfels, TX. Also in attendance were Chris Lo and Michael McDaniel from Pi-Iota Zeta at North Carolina A&T University.

1/20/2006: Rush Party!

We hosted another successful live music party this Friday featuring the band CarrotAndStick. Thanks to all who came out, including University President Nathan Hatch.

1/12/2006: Texas Hold'em Tournament

Our first event of the spring semester, a No-limit Texas Hold'em tournament, had a solid turnout of 54 players. Freshman Ryan Narus took home first prize, a signed Phil Ivey photo and $75 Best Buy gift certificate. Scott Foster ΘT 1021 finished best among the brothers. Click here for more photos.
